Getting acquainted

When we get acquainted, we discuss the most important points with you. Does your horse have little to no experience? Or have you already laid the training foundations at home? We make sure this is clear first.

What you need to know

It is the owner’s responsibility to deworm the horse. If your horse is with us for a period of three months, we require you to have your horse dewormed before it arrives at our stables. It is also important that your horse has been examined by the dentist and has had its wolf teeth extracted. This makes it more comfortable for your horse. Bringing your horse

Horses can be broken in once they reach the age of 3. On average, it takes us 1 to 2 months to break in a horse. During this time, we offer livery on a weekly basis. . The duration depends on the horse’s character and experience. We also take into account the rider’s experience. Some riders are very experienced and others need more coaching. At Stal Koorman our training services are tailored to your needs.

When you have a large number of horses, we can break them in on-site. It is very important that there are several horses. Smaller numbers of horses are broken in at our location in Slagharen in the Netherlands.

Health comes first.
