MEET HERMAN

About me

Many people dream of turning their hobby into a career. In 2006, this dream became a reality for me when I started my own business. My passion for horses began when I sat on a pony for the first time at the age of nine. Since that moment, I knew that I wanted to be with horses. Equestrian sports were spoon-fed to me, as it were.

At the age of seventeen, I started working at Stal Zoer, where I occupied myself with breaking in and taming horses. I learned much about interacting with horses, thereby, forming a solid foundation for my future.

In 2006, when I was 26, it was time for the next step in my life. I officially registered Stal Koorman at the chamber of commerce and started my own business.

In the beginning, I combined my work at Stal Koorman with a night job as a chauffeur. I had to get up early to work with the horses at 10 o’clock in the morning. So, I quit my chauffeur job in 2009, to be able to focus all of my energy on Stal Koorman.

Nowadays, I also introduce horses to equestrian sports. I have two broodmares that provide two foals every year: one dressage horse and one showjumper.

Because of my experience of over 26 years in the world of horses, I am regularly consulted.

People avoid difficulties by benefitting from my expertise.
