What we do
Stal Koorman is deskundig in het zadelmak maken en trainen van paarden. It is essential that this is carried out professionally – in a suitable environment – in order to build the horse’s confidence. At Stal Koorman, training and breaking in are a daily routine. We have more than 25 years of experience in training numerous horses and introducing them to equestrian sports, where they perform impressively.

You are most welcome to visit us at the livery stables by appointment
We value transparency very highly and feel it is important that you are able to keep track of your horse’s progress at first hand. You may also make video recordings that you can view later and make you feel proud.

Very flexible
Herman is very flexible and always willing to help. For example, if I phone him in the morning, I can come over with several horses in the afternoon. He is also very calm when breaking in a horse. He gives it all he has got and it is certainly one of his strengths. In short, we love working with him and are very satisfied.

Stal Koorman has carried out EPTM tests for the KWPN (Royal Dutch Stud Book) for more than 5 years. Herman is responsible for breaking in and correcting horses. Every 8 weeks, new mares arrive at KWPN. He breaks them in, rides them and observes their characters. Please find more information via the following link:

Safety certificate
Every year, we undergo an inspection carried out by the Dutch foundation for safe equestrian sports, the ‘Stichting Veilige Paardensport. After each inspection, we receive a safety certificate to assure that our establishment meets the basic requirements for the safe practice of equestrian sports. We are proud of being awarded this certificate every year.
